The social media world was buzzing in anticipation of Tyler, The Creator’s first fashion show at the MADE LA located at LA Live. Prior to the start of the show, attendees could mix, mingle, and check out local LA brand pop up shops. Tyler’s fashionable fans showed out in their Golf Wang attire making his impact on fashion much more prevalent. Tyler transformed typical audience and designer connectivity by actively participating in the show. Tyler was seen riding on a motor bike, playing cards, and dancing with his friends/ models on stage. Not only did he announce his new shoe line, Golf le Fleur, but everyone in attendance of his show will be sent a prototype of their choice. The models attire consisted of traditional Golf Wang aesthetics. With Vans paired with almost every look, the show was a skate kids dream land complete with a skate ramp embedded in the runway. The Golf Wang collection challenged societal norms of masculinity by showcasing male models wearing pink polo tops and colorful sneakers. Some pieces shown in Tyler’s collection included: pink satin bomber jackets, overalls, and brightly colored hoodies. Even Tyler stepped out in a sequin shirt for a short performance. Tyler, The Creator’s Golf Wang show was a mere representation of a visionary who never gave up on their dream not matter who doubted them. Post written by #Thecomplextwins
